Itinerary
Depart from Los Angeles via China Airlines trans-flight to Bangkok. Cross the International Date Line.
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Century Park)
Half-day city tour includes the Grand Palace and some of the most renowned Buddhist temples: the Temple of the Golden Buddha and the huge Reclining Buddha at Wat Po.
Morning, cruise along the Chao Phraya River and see the Temple of Dawn. Afternoon free. Tonight, enjoy Thai delicacies and a performance of traditional dances.

This morning, travel to Ayuthaya Historical Park. Visit restored ruins of Wat Chai Wattanaram and other important temples. Continue toward Nakhon Sawan. After lunch, drive to Sukhothai and visit a votive tablet workshop.(Sukhothai Treasure)

This morning, temple visits include Wat Mahathat, the largest and most important temple of the empire. After lunch at a nearby homestay, transfer to Lampang. (Lampang River Lodge)

Morning,visit a local rural school. On the way northward, stop at Wat Rong Khun, the white temple of Chiang Rai. After lunch, take a boat ride on the Mekong River. Visit an opium museum, and continue to a vantage point for a view of the valley and neighboring countries. (Serene Chiang Rai)

Today,drive toward Mae Sai,the northernmost city bordering Myanmar. Visit Wat Phra That Wai Dao and explore the market. Depart for Doi Tung and visit the Royal Villa and some ethnic hill-tribe communities. After lunch, continue to Chiang Mai. (Shewe Wana)
Visit Wat Sri Supan and an arts study center, and take a rickshaw for temple visits. After lunch, visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, northern Thailand's most sacred temple. Return to your hotel.
