Next, fly to Seoul, Korea's national capital, for a six-night stay. Sightseeing includes a full-day tour of Seoul, a tour of Mt. Gaya National Park, and a full-day city tour of Gyeongju, where visits include the 6th-century Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Temple and Cheomseongdae Observatory. Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to hotel.
Today, take a half-day tour: a Hong Kong Story. Tour highlights include riding the 6th Generation Peak Tram to the Peak, and a guided Walking Tour of Old Town Central, starting from Central Mid-Level Escalator, the world’s longest outdoor covered escalator. Stop at Tai Kwun, sixteen heritage buildings, carefully preserved and transformed into an arts and culture hub. Walk along Hollywood Road, which is filled with trinket and antique shops. Stop at Man Mo Temple. Dim sum tasting at Tim Ho Wan. (B)
Today, take a full-day trip to Macau, a perfect short detour from Hong Kong. A former Portuguese colony, Macau embodies a unique cultural identity - a fusion of Portuguese and Chinese landmarks and traditions. Tour highlights include: A Ma Temple; Macau Tower (optional visit on own expenses); section of the Old City Walls, the city's earliest defense structure; and Senado Square, part of UNESCO-listed historic town center. Free time to visit casino, if time permits (for entertainment purpose only and lasting about half an hour). Note: Macau visa fee is not included (if required). (B/L)
