Itinerary
Depart the US on Fiji Airways trans-flight to Sydney.
Cross the International Date Line.
Arrive in Sydney and transfer to hotel. (Hyatt Regency/Radisson Blu Plaza)
After breakfast, begin a day of touring with the city's must-see sights, including Sydney's birthplace (The Rocks), Sydney Opera House, and Mrs Macquaries Chair. Wander Manley and Bondi beaches, stop at Arabanoo Lookout and pass through picturesque Milsons Point. Take in stunning views aboard Captain Cook's lunch cruise in spectacular Sydney Harbor.
Full day free to explore the city on your own.
Fly to Cairns and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast, board the Kuranda Scenic Train and visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, where you experience a dance performance, museum and lunch.
Enjoy an exciting full day on the Great Barrier Reef. Cruise by catamaran to the stunning Marine World coral reef location. Enjoy morning tea, an informative presentation by a marine biologist, a buffet lunch, semi-submersible tours, glass-bottom boat tours, and underwater observatory coral viewing. All snorkeling equipment, wet suit and Lycra suit are included, and a qualified snorkeling advisor is on hand. Scuba diving available at additional cost.

Morning tour includes Queen Victoria Market, the Shrine of Remembrance, King's Domain Gardens and Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Royal Exhibition Buildings. Drive down Collins Street, the ultimate shopping strip and business center of the city, and see world-renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Fly to Auckland, New Zealand, and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, as time permits, a city tour takes you to the Harbor Bridge and Mt. Eden for a beautiful view of the city and harbor and to the War Memorial Museum. (Rydges/SkyCity)
Travel by motorcoach to Waitomo Caves and visit the magical glow-worm grotto. Continue to the wonderful thermal springs of Rotorua. (Sudima/Rotorua Lakeside Novotel)
A morning visit to the Agrodome features an entertaining agricultural show, followed by Rainbow Springs. At Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, you visit the Maori Cultural Arts and Crafts Center, followed by a guided tour of the soaring geysers and bubbling mud pools. Afternoon free. Evening, feast and cultural entertainment.

Drive from Queenstown through the Fiordland, National Park where lush rainforests meet snow-capped mountains. On arrival at Milford Sound, enjoy a cruise on the tranquil waters of the Fiord, with a view of the iconic Mitre Peak and the waterfalls. Return to Queenstown.
In the morning, travel overland to Christchurch. Drive through the Kawarau Gorge and Lindis Pass and view Mt. Cook, New Zealand's highest peak. (Rydges Latimer/George)
Depart for the US via Fiji Airways, and arrive home the same day. Or take our Fiji Extension. (Fiji Airways flies Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Christchurch. If flying on a different day, add flight Christchurch to Auckland.)
